South Bend, IN May 1-3

We headed to South Bend, IN the first weekend in May for one of Charles' cousins wedding. She had asked Wills to be the coin bearer. I actually tried to talk her out of it, but it didn't work! At this point in time, he was extremely uncooperative with pictures and I really wasn't sure how he would do walking down the aisle and sitting through the full Catholic mass. He surprised us all by totally rocking the actually ceremony. He walked down the aisle like a champ and was quite and attentive all through the service. Unlike his little bother. Ephram and I spent most of the wedding hanging out in the foyer. Wills did hold true to form with the pictures though. I'm not sure they got a photo with him in it. On this trip we also discovered our children will stay up forever if you let them. The night of the wedding was the mayweather pacquiao fight. We went to a cousins house to watch it and let all the kids play since they don't see each other very much. I was just sure that at one point I would turn around and they would be passed out. Never happened. They boys were up until 1AM and would have kept on going had we not gone back to the hotel and put them to bed!

Babymoon in Punta Cana April 15-19

When we found out we were expeticng Te3, we decided we better take one last trip without kiddos before we wouldn't be able to for a while. We wanted to go somewhere we hadn't been before and we wanted something relaxing! This led us to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. A friend had recommended we stay at one of the Secrets resorts, but since we booked somewhat last minute (in February for an April trip) it was booked. I did some research on Trip Advisor and we ended up booking the Barcelo Bavaro Beach Adults only resort. Punta Cana is gorgeous, and we would definitely go back, but we would pick a different resort. Our resort was beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Unfortunately, Charles and I both love to eat and the food was very disappointing. The last night we were there we ate in the Mexican restaurant and both thought it was the best food we had all week. We aren't sure if it was really that good or if the rest was so bad it just made it seem that great!

Easter 2015

We had our annual Easter Egg hunt at my mom's house the Saturday before Easter. My best friends from high school and college come out with their kiddos. It is so much fun!

Waiting until the last minute and dyeing eggs the night before!

Easter Sunday!

St. Patrick's Day!

I totally dropped the ball this year compared to last year! They don't care though!

Renovations!

We did some major backyard renovations this spring that started in late February and actually still isn't complete. We had a ton of weather delays due to it raining practically every week when they started until about June. What little is left to still be completed is actually on OGE and will hopefully be done in the next week or two!

We also gutted our kitchen. This started in April and was complete at the end of June.

We have been so happy with the results of both renovations!

Ephram at 19 months

(This was written back in May)
So once behind on visits, we stay behind on visits. His well check was at 19 months instead of 18 months. This kiddo still loves to snuggle and be held. I love it, but it is getting harder the further along in my pregnancy I get and the heavier he gets! I am saying prayers daily that once little sister arrives, he will not need me to hold him or carry him quite so much.

Sleep is continues to be great for him. He is STILL taking a morning nap in addition to an afternoon nap. I think we are going to have to make him give up the morning nap. He can skip it with no problem when we are out and about, but if we are at home, he will go get his blanket and pacifier out of his bed and come get you. A sure sign he needs some rest.

His wubanub continues to be used only for sleep. We are planning on taking it away for good after we get back from Florida. We just didn't want to put ourselves through traveling with him and not letting him use it! Hopefully it will go smoothly. We want him to be broken of it before baby sister arrives, so if she is using one, he won't think he needs one as well.

His teeth have come in with a vengeance over the last few months. His top teeth are still coming in wonky. One tooth actually looks like it is being blocked by other teeth from coming down all the way. We had our first dentist appointment and he did ok. He wasn't super cooperative, but they did get a good look at him. The dentist said to just wait and see with his teeth for now. We will go back in November and see what they have to say then. The vegetable strike continues and it so frustrating. He gets his veggies from a pouch most days. Occasionally we can get him to eat some peas.

19 month stats:
Weight: 29 lbs, 3 oz (94%)
Height: 34 1/2 inches (95%)
Head: 50 cm (97%)
Clothing size: 24 months
Must Haves: Anything Wills has, trains, cars, planes (seeing a theme here?)
Milestones: Lots more words! Some we aren't very proud of (show and cookie), others we are (DaDa!!! Finally!)
