Three Months

This month has flown by. I started back to work (which was hard) and Wills started his new weekday routine with the nanny. He has adjusted beautifully. I'm getting there =)

I am so afraid to say this because I don't want to jinx it, but Wills is sleeping through the night and has been for about 3 weeks now. We start our bedtime routine which consists of bath, bottle, and book at 7:30 and he is down around 8:15 and sleeps until 7:30ish the next morning. Nap times are another story, but at this point I will take sleeping through the night over good naps. Maybe next month I will be able to report that those are going well too.

Blowing bubbles is still a favorite past time. The amount of drool he produces is outstanding. He is finally interested in his activity mat. He occasionally hits some of the toys (by accident) and he is fascinated by their movement. Still not a big fan of tummy time, but it is definitely getting better.

Clothing Size: Firmly into the 3 months and some 3-6 months

So on October 2nd, the whole family plus Wills' Godparents and their little boy got together to celebrate Wills' baptism.

It was a fun morning and we are so glad that our families were able to make the trip. 

Two Months

This second month has flown by. I am sad to say my maternity leave is coming to an end this week. We have decided to pass on daycare and have hired a really sweet girl named Michelle to come to the house and nanny for us. Hopefully this will make the transition a little easier for me. I am not worried at all about Wills! 

This last month has been so fun. Our little guy is getting a personality. He smiles and chats quite a bit. He also has very manly burps. I swear you would think they were coming from a grown man! He has also become really good at blowing bubbles. Cute, but messy. Being outside is one of his favorite things, he loves going on walks or just laying on a blanket in the shade.

Weight: 11 lbs, 6 oz (50th percentile)

Length: 23 1/2 inches (75th percentile)

Clothing Size: Newborns are officially gone. We are now in the 0-3 months, some fit great and some are still a little loose

Must haves: Still using the moby wrap like crazy as well as the miracle swaddle blanket

We met Blaine, Stella, and their mommies today at Starbucks. Aunt Janice came too. She was nice enough to get some photos of Wills with his friends.

   

 

We had a great time today hanging out with our friends. I am looking forward to the day they actually start interacting with one another!
